spooky season!!🎃

We have been up to some spooky stuff in the run up to Halloween 👻. A monster restaurant has come to the classroom! We looked at the menu and have made some interesting recipes with worms and spiders 🙈🕷️

We are also making some crazy potions in the lab and building some haunted houses 🏚️

Halloween Dress up day !!

Spring walk 

We have been looking at all the different signs of spring outside. We went on a spring walk with Ms Watts class to look at all the slowers growing, the buds on the trees and much more. We picked some daffodils and bluebells for our classroom. We also enjoyed playing in the park afterwards. We had such a good day and enjoyed the sunshine.

The doctors office 

We visited the doctors office for playtime. We learned all about x - rays, writing prescriptions and we even wrapped our teacher up in bandages! We drove ambulances aswell and used all of our tools to treat the patients. We built a hospital for all of our classmates with our blocks. 

We have been looking at line in art and are able to name lots of different types of lines. We used paint sticks to make straight lines, curly lines, wavy lines and zig-zag lines. We have gotten so good at our art and using lots of different colours! We also coloured in a sheet and painted over it. This meant we could scratch out different lines and make a nice picture.

Planting seeds 

We planted seeds using beans, soils and water. We explored what seeds need to grow into plants and we even got to take hom our runner beans when the started to grow! 

We watered our plants everyday and noticed every little detail that grew on them. Our teacher had a very messy classroom when we planted them!!
