Our SESE topic for January was Play - we looked at old and new toys, play spaces and then we made our own playdough for science!

It was very messy but the boys loved it!

We did some coding by creating a sequence using winter sports actions and directions:

We explored magnetism by creating our own figure skating ice rinks and moving our figure skater (with a paper clip stand) around with a magnet.

We have been working very hard on problem solving - our main focus has been finding the important information and showing our work with pictures and number sentences

For Wellbeing Week we had lovely activities - yoga, mindfulness colouring, and gratitude journals.

The boys especially loved taking time in the day to sit with their blankets and a book or a colouring page. We called this 'cosy time' and they had such a relaxing time.
