We have had a very busy start to the new school year. We completed this art project during the first week back, learning how to create art using 1-point perspective.
During Maths week we had a very fun visitor to our class, mindreader and illusionist Colm Dawson
We also made out own Maths games, concentrating on all the topics we have learned during 5th and 6th class.
We also go rowing every Friday and have 6 sessions each. This is a new skill for all of us that we really enjoy. It promotes team work, co-operation and is also good for our fitness levels.
This is some of the art we did during Halloween. We had to dip our face wipes into PVA glue. It was a very messy but fun activity!
Happy Halloween!!
We made some lovely sculptures using clay.
We had great fun during Seachtain Na Gaeilge. We completed lots of different activities and finished the week with a fun Ceilí!
We completed the Junior Entrepreneur program where we got to design and create our own product. We sold our creation to the other students in the school and made lots of money. We are really proud of our product.
After all our hard work, we decided to spend our money on a trip to Sproai. We spent two hours there and had lunch. It was great fun!
