Welcome to St. Lorcan’s BNS Parents' Association
As a parent or guardian of a child that attends St Lorcan’s BNS you are automatically a member of the PA and are welcome to join our monthly meetings or simply get involved as a volunteer!
The objective of the Parents Association is:
To adopt a programme of activities; which will promote the involvement of parents in the operation of the school, in consultation with the principal.
To promote and improve the welfare of parents, pupils and staff of the school by encouraging community participation in the organisation of educational. Social and extra-curricular activities.
To work in partnership with the Principal, Board of Management and the whole school community for the betterment of the children in the school.
To support and empower parents to be active in the best interest of their children’s educational lives.
St Lorcan’s PA committee is composed as follows:

Monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in the main hall of St. Lorcan's B.N.S.
Each year the parents association organises and assist with events and activities which include:
Celebration Breakfast (communion time)
New parents coffee morning
Gift and reception for graduation classes
Design a Christmas card
Christmas selection boxes for all students
and much more!
We also assist with projects and functions at the school such as:
Book Sale
Painting school yard markings
Purchase of basketball nets
Cake sale
School benches for the yard
Projector and movie screen
