Welcome to Junior infants 😁! 

We are so excited to show you everything that we have been up to during the school year. It is always super busy as we are always laughing and having fun. We really love arts and crafts, music and dancing, PE, playtime and playing lots of games in Maths, English and Gaeilge. We hope you enjoy seeing all our lovely activities throughout the year!

We really love arts and crafts in our classroom. Here we are making our names out of coloured paper that we ripped up and glued on. We all did an amazing job!

We have also used a variety of materials to recreate Kandinskys circles. We had so much fun experimenting with print and creating different patterns, shapes and colours.

We have been up to some spooky stuff in the run up to Halloween 👻. A monster restaurant has come to the classroom! We looked at the menu and have made some interesting recipes with worms and spiders 🙈🕷️

We are also making some crazy potions in the lab and building some haunted houses 🏚️

We have been working really hard at our maths this term! Here we are adding numbers using our counters. We can add numbers now and we are working on writing our different numbers also

We have been making lots of pieces of art this term and we have had so much fun while doing it! We have learned how to make things out of clay, use paint to make trees, make puppets and much more. Take a look at what we've been making:

PLaytime! 

We have been having so much fun with our play the past few weeks. We pretended to be postmen and work in the post office. We delivered parcels and letters to all our friends! 

We dressed up as elves and worked in Santa's workshop. We were making toys, wrapping presents and we also made our letters to Santa! It was so much fun and got us so excited for Christmas. Santa came to visit us in the classroom and he told us we were all on the nice list 😁

We spent so much time practicing for our Christmas Show and all our families came to see us! We hope you all enjoyed. 

We got to dress up in Christmas jumpers and we had a Christmas party on our last day of school. We had so much fun but we are so excited for our time off and we can't wait for Christmas!!
