Chess Competition

A huge well done to the 32 pupils who proudly represented our school at the chess competition on 25th February 2026. You were fantastic ambassadors for our school and showed great determination, focus, and sportsmanship throughout the day. The competition welcomed players from Gaelscoil Inse Chór, St. John The Evangelist N.S., and St. Ultan's Primary School, creating a wonderful atmosphere of friendly rivalry and respect. The format of six rounds, with each round lasting 20 minutes, challenged every player to think strategically, manage their time carefully, and stay focused under pressure. We are looking forward to next year.
