Senior Infants

Welcome to Senior Infants.

We enjoy learning about new things, reading new facts and having fun.

Here are some picture of the begining of our year. We went on an Autumn nature walk. We played GAA with coach Peter. We played in our new Sensory garden. We have lots of fun playing and creating with our friends in class.

We always enjoy Art lessons. We love creating, painting, glueing and cutting. 

We read the story and made art of Elmer who is an amazing elephant even thouh he is different. We made the three little pigs houses.  We also painting Kadinski Circles.

We had Maths week this week. We were learning about length and explored different numbers .

For Maths week 6th class boys joined our class and helped us make our own Maths games. We went around the class playing all the Maths games others had created

The Student Council helped us make some shape mosters for Maths Week

Happy Halloween everyone! We loved dressing up in our costumes and doing lots of Halloween art.

We used magic play doh to make our wishes! Maybe we can make play doh at home. 

We loved using body boards in PE

We learnt about the Post office. We posted a letter and the post man came in to say hello.

After one boy got into our post box in our class. We all took turns.

We designed houses using many different materials and different shapes. 

We had a cosy party in school for earning blocks on our reward chart. We Made blanket forts ad  had some relaxing time in class

We are doing lots of Christmas Art and practising for our Christmas Concert next week

We enjoyed rehersing for our Christmas show. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

We love learning and building. We always ask Ms Clarke to take a photo of our favourite builds.

We are learning about the Olympics. We looked at some of the athletes that won medals for Ireland and represented Ireland.

We did some station at PE and tride some different sports.

Some of our Grandparents visited our class. we preformed some songs, we showed them some of our work and played with them.
