St. Lorcan's BNS is a Catholic Primary School for boys in Palmerstown, Dublin 20. Our aim is to create a structured, nurturing, joyful, and safe setting where children feel happy and engaged in their learning.

St. Lorcan's is committed to offering every pupil a fair and enriching educational experience, embracing diversity in race, religion, social background, intellectual ability, additional educational needs, disability, and family circumstances.

Recognising parents as their children's first educators, St. Lorcan's is committed to fostering meaningful partnerships that encourage active parental involvement in both their child's learning journey and wider school life.

We cherish our connection with the local community and encourage active participation by our pupils and their families in community life.

We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and positive environment that supports each pupil’s holistic development, and we invest our resources in inspiring, challenging, and empowering one another.

St. Lorcan's currently has 22 teachers, including an administrative principal, 14 mainstream classes, 1 Autism Class and 6 Special Education Teacher posts. We currently have 8 SNA posts.
