Hurling
After 2 years of the very successful yard league, we have been taking part in the Cumann na mBunscoil competition.
Our first competitive game took place in Glenaulin against Holy Family National School Rathcoole.
After overcoming Round 1 we recieved a bye in Round 2 and moved on to play Scoil Cronán in Round 3. This was an intense game, but luckily we overcame the challenge.
After winning our group we moved onto the County Semi Final. This was played against Our Lady's B.N.S. on a beautiful summer day in Glenaulin. The support from parents and members of the community was fantastic. The match report can be found below!

In beautiful weather, we played Our Lady's B.N.S., Ballinteer in the county semi final in Glenaulin. We started very well with both Justin and Robert putting over some early scores. Brilliant defensive efforts from Ancel, Rory, Ken, Joseph & Andrew kept the Our Lady's attack under control. As the first half went on we settled into the game, and after more scores from Robert, Daniel & Justin, Mason found the back of the net with a goal worthy of any Intercounty team. At half time the score was 1-5 to 2 points.
In the second half we really hit our stride with Finn and Morgan both scoring fantastic points. The entire attack consisting of Morgan, Mason, Cain, Sean, Aaron and Daniel worked brilliantly together. With 10 minutes gone in the second half Mason followed up a on a great delivery to score his second goal. Hugh made some fantastic saves in the latter stages and Olaf found the net with 2 minutes to go to put the result beyond doubt. The impact of our substitutes cannot be underestimated with Olaf, Noah, Josh, Tadgh, Noah C, and Callum making a huge difference to the game when introduced.
The Final takes place in Croke Park on Tuesday June 7th at 10am! All support greatly appreciated.
