Ms. Gorham's 6th Class
30th June 2020
Hi boys, I hope you all enjoyed your Graduation Ceremony. It was lovely to see you all again. Click the link below to see the Photo Powerpoint.
Don't forget to have a read of Lorcan's wonderful poem.
Have a lovely summer and all the best in secondary school!
We started here as infants in 2012,
Learned to read, write and look after ourselves
Art P.E and playtime all part of our day,
A lot of new friendships made on the way.
There were school plays and carols at Christmas,
After school clubs that we didn’t want to miss.
The shoe box appeal and of course Mad Hatters,
All about helping others when it mattered.
Our Communion day came around so fast,
The active flag, slioterbouls, all memories that will last.
Credit Union quizzes and cross country races,
Soccer, GAA, we were put through our paces.
A lot has been taken from us by the current situation,
Carlingford, Teacher v Student match and a bigger Graduation.
Honoured to share our final year with Mr. Daly and have him at our Confirmation.
All of these experiences made us who we are today,
St. Lorcans started our journey and now we are on our way.
We thank the teachers, principal and staff, present and past,
And hope our time here had an impression that will last.
So now here we are the Class of 2020,
Taller, wiser and with memories aplenty.
Although not all together as we begin the next part,
We are thankful to St. Lorcans for the best head start.
Friends, life lessons and memories to treasure.
Goodbye St. Lorcans, it’s been a pleasure!
