St. Lorcan's B.N.S

WINNERS
of this year's Rosary Competition

On the morning of the 4th of April 2022, St. Lorcan’s Boys National School received word from Fr. Joseph that they had won the rosary competition. The judging panel praised the diversity, creativity and enthusiasm the pupils showed for the rosary. Also, the level of engagement the pupils showed while participating in prayer was noted and eminent.

The rosary is a beautiful prayer and is something that Ms. Greally and the staff in St. Lorcan’s have been trying to instil in pupils over the last number of years. Mr. Peter Graydon, 5th class teacher, led the whole process and is responsible for our school’s winning entry. The level of commitment and fun displayed by the pupils was evident throughout this short video clip, which was also commented upon by the judging panel.

All the staff, pupils and families who contributed to this competition are to be thanked wholeheartedly.  This brief video clip also gives an insight to everyday life in St. Lorcan’s BNS, where pupils show great commitment and dedication to catholic school life and their local community.
